Strike Analysis & Reporting

Glaucous-winged Gull - Bamfield, B.C.

At airports where more than a few strikes per year occur, it is best practice to periodically conduct a strike analysis. At airports with higher strike numbers, such an anaylsis should be conducted annually. Not only will strike analysis result in an assessment of risk, but it will identify trends and result in recommendations for enhancements to the Wildlife Control Program at the airport. AWMI personnel are capable of conducting full reporting for airport wildlife programs well beyond strike reporting and analysis. Whether you are in need of accurate monthly or annual reporting or wish to have a summary report for a longer period, we will work with your airport to tailor a report outline to answer the questions you need answered and to support the program to senior management and government agencies.
